“William R. “Willie” Horton (born August 12, 1951) is an American convicted felon who, while serving a life sentence for murder (without the possibility of parole), was the beneficiary of a Massachusetts weekend furlough program. He did not return from his furlough, and ultimately he committed assault, armed robbery and rape.” Willie Horton was used as a bludgeon by George H.W. Bush’s campaign to effectively knock Michael Dukakis (D) out of the Presidential 1988 race. Wikipedia
Willie Horton was just ONE inmate. The Obama Administration has pushed to stop as many deportations as possible. According to a report from The Center for Immigration Studies:
“In 2013, ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal aliens from detention who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings…
The document reveals that the 36,007 convicted criminal aliens freed from ICE custody in many instances had multiple convictions. Among them, the 36,007 had nearly 88,000 convictions, including:
- 193 homicide convictions (including one willful killing of a public official with gun)
- 426 sexual assault convictions
- 303 kidnapping convictions
- 1,075 aggravated assault convictions
- 1,160 stolen vehicle convictions
- 9,187 dangerous drug convictions
- 16,070 drunk or drugged driving convictions
- 303 flight escape convictions”
What will the ramifications be from the 36,000 criminal illegal aliens released by the Obama Administration given the outrage over one, Willy Horton crime spree? It’s almost a certainty that one, or likely many, of the released immigrants will commit additional crimes. How will Americans react when, and if, the media reports on those crimes? Given the number of murders and sexual assaults reported above, wouldn’t this equate to a real “War on Women?” Perhaps it would be more accurate to label it a “War on Innocent Americans”!
